THE JED FOUNDATION

Our first campaign for The Jed Foundation was all about identifying and accepting the awkwardness that comes with talking about mental health. But for our second year, we needed to go one step further—teach teens how to get past the awkwardness and actually have a conversation.

So we created “Whatever Gets You Talking”, a campaign that gave young people hundreds of ways to start that conversation, from a song and music video that crams all kinds of suggestions in one place to GIPHY stickers and filters on Snapchat.

This was all created remotely when the world first shut down with Covid, making it more important than ever to encourage teens to check in with their friends.
